SCMAP held the fourth edition of its Member Meets event series at one of the largest logistics facilities in the Philippines, Maersk’s Optimus Distribution Center in Calamba, Laguna.
The event, held last 7 May, was taken part in by over 20 representatives from SCMAP member companies. There they were not just toured around the mega facility serving several of Maersk’s clients, but also learned how corporate sustainability goals are transformed into tangible actions, from the design and development of the facility to day-to-day operations.
Member Meets is a new series of SCMAP events, exclusive to its member companies, providing delegates with an opportunity to benchmark with some of the country’s leading supply chain players and learn directly from stakeholders and experts.
