Despite the rains, SCMAP successfully conducted the first ever Supply Chain Immersion In A Day event last 25 July at the Nestlé North Luzon Distribution Center in San Manuel, Tarlac.
Over twenty attendees took part in a day-long event which featured expert talks, benchmarking opportunities, and a tour of the state-of-the-art distribution facilities of the food manufacturer catering to customers in north and central Luzon.
Speaking at the event were former SCMAP director Amante Aguilar, Maersk Omnichannel Fulfillment’s Ram Delos Reyes, InsightSCS’ Pierre Carlo Curay, Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation’s Apple Ocampo, and Nestlé Philippines’ Dennis Llovido, who also serves as SCMAP president.
Participants were immersed in both the challenges of optimizing operations for a responsive and impactful supply chain, as well as best practices to ensure more efficient warehouse operations and better customer satisfaction.
