The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines welcomes the decision by the Anti-Red Tape Authority to send a request for comment to the Philippine Ports Authority regarding the new berthing guidelines set by Manila North Harbour Port Inc. We hope that this action would lead to the deferment of the implementation of this new policy, which will burden cargo owners – and ultimately, end customers – with additional costs without consulting stakeholders who will be affected by it.
