Regulations on common tower policy to be discussed in next SCAn Networks Hub E-Forum

The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines welcomes the decision by the Anti-Red Tape Authority to send a request for comment to the Philippine Ports Authority regarding the new berthing guidelines set by Manila North Harbour Port Inc. We hope that this action would lead to the deferment of the implementation of this new policy, which will burden cargo owners – and ultimately, end customers – with additional costs without consulting stakeholders who will be affected by it.

In an effort to identify and resolve supply chain issues throughout the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, the public and private sectors have together developed an analytics dashboard and online reporting tool that will help the public to flag logistics bottlenecks to relevant authorities, and the government to resolve them.
