Maersk Contract Logistics’ Jennifer Alcano has been named the new vice president of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines.

She takes the role after a vote from among the members of the SCMAP Board of Directors, triggered by the vacancy in the position after Pierre Carlo Curay was elevated to the presidency. She will hold the role until the end of 2026.

Alcano, who is senior business development manager for Maersk Contract Logistics in the Philippines, previously served as SCMAP’s treasurer. With that position now vacant, a vote to fill this position from among the members of the Board will commence, with the results to be announced in due course.

In addition, two new directors have been named after recent vacancies to the BOD: Sierra Basmayor-Ng of Unilever Philippines, and Clarissa Castillo of Kenvue. They will also hold their roles until the end of 2026.
