SCMAP held the third ever edition of its Member Meets events at the Laguna Gateway Inland Container Port, the country’s first ever inland port, in Calamba, Laguna.
The event, held last 31 July, saw roughly 40 participants from among SCMAP member companies learn more about the facility, its contribution to the overall supply chain ecosystem in the country, and future plans as southern Luzon gears up for further infrastructure development, particularly with regards to rail cargo.
This was followed by a tour of the facility, which currently serves automotive and chemical locators in the region.
Member Meets is a new series of SCMAP events, exclusive to its member companies, providing delegates with an opportunity to benchmark with some of the country’s leading supply chain players and learn directly from stakeholders and experts.
