SCMAP kicked off the new year with its annual Supply Chain Outlook event, providing a look at what lies ahead for the country’s supply chain sector in the next twelve months.
The event was held last 25 February 2025 at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City.
This year we were graced with the presence of Atty. Vincent Philip Maronilla, assistant commissioner of the Bureau of Customs, who shared the agency’s efforts to improve revenue collection, combat smuggling and further facilitate movement of trade in the country.
As always, REID Foundation’sĀ Ronilo Balbieran also joined us to share his economic outlook for the coming year, in light of sluggish economic growth and a fresh wave of geopolitical disruptions.
The event also featured the induction of SCMAP’s Board of Directors for 2025-26, with presidentĀ Dennis Llovido sharing the organization’s initiatives in the coming year, as well as the unveiling of the Supply Chain Leaders’ Advisory Council.
The well-attended event ended with a networking dinner, providing SCMAP members and partners an opportunity to catch up.
