SCMAP’s annual Supply Chain Immersion event is set to provide delegates once again with a first-hand look at how we can better tackle logistics challenges as it sets sail for Puerto Princesa City this April.
The event is scheduled for 19-22 April, with seminars and workshops to be held on board MV St. Francis Xavier of 2GO Travel, followed by site tours and fellowship sessions in what has been dubbed the Eco-Tourism Center of the Philippines.
The city, which serves as the main port for Palawan province, has witnessed growth in recent years due to initiatives addressing infrastructure issues and increasing tourist capacity. It has also posed a unique challenge for supply chain managers due to its relatively remote location and limited options for inter-island connectivity. This serves as a backdrop to this year’s Immersion, which will explore how we can better utilize emerging technologies and embrace a culture of collaboration to tackle these and other logistics challenges.
Registration for this event is now open, with fees at PHP 24,900 for SCMAP members and PHP 29,900 for non-members. This includes participation in tours and workshops, as well as all meals, accommodation and transportation across the four days.
