SCMAP will continue to work as the first mover of Philippine supply chain through its events and activities in 2024.

The year begins with another edition of Supply Chain Outlook, scheduled for 22 February 2024 with venue to be confirmed. As with previous installments, this event will look ahead at what is in store for the sector with the help of stakeholders from industry and government.

Our annual Supply Chain Immersion – a unique three-day event providing a truly immersive view of supply chain operations – returns on 19-21 April 2024. This year we will be heading to Palawan.

Finally, our flagship event, the 2024 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, will be held on 12-13 September 2024, once again at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City. We will once again gather industry thought leaders and stakeholders to discuss pressing trends and issues in the sector. Sponsorship details will be released in the coming weeks.

SCMAP also has other events in store, such as more editions of our Member Meets events, as well as further training programs, fellowship events, and collaborations with other local and foreign industry groups. If you are interested in taking part, you can email Henrik Batallones at hbatallones@scmap.org.

These events are part of SCMAP’s continued thrust to provide more value for its members and the supply chain sector at large. To aid this, the organization has implemented changes to its governance. Starting in 2024, all members of our Board of Directors will be serving two-year terms, as opposed to just the president. All current sitting directors from the 2023 board have agreed to extend their terms to the end of 2024 to facilitate the move.

Two directors were also elected during online elections last November to fill vacancies in the board. We welcome Roland Bernardez of Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines and Kareen Co of Unilever Philippines to our BOD for 2024.

We at SCMAP look forward to being of service to you in the months ahead.
