SCMAP welcomes Universal Robina Corporation’s Robert Pangyarihan Jr. to its Board of Directors for the rest of 2022.
Pangyarihan, who is senior manager for inbound supply chain of URC’s flour division, joins the board after the departure of director Amante Aguilar, who recently announced his retirement and departed his position from Del Monte Philippines. As per the organization’s by-laws, this means he is no longer eligible to maintain his position within the SCMAP board as he is no longer the official representative of his company.
Pangyarihan was selected as one of the top vote-getters from the most recent elections for the Board of Directors, which was held last November 2021.
