The latest issue of SCMAP’s official magazine, Supply Chain Philippines, looks at how supply chains are – and should – address climate change and move towards environmental sustainability.
With the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change ringing urgent alarm bells on the threat of rising global temperatures and its impact on the planet – with the Philippines deemed highly vulnerable, from rising sea levels to extreme weather events – efforts to decarbonize and move towards more sustainable processes are very much underway. We look at the key issues that must be addressed, and how stakeholders can better work together to meet common goals and aid our post-pandemic economic recovery. We also spotlight sustainability efforts by various companies.
This issue also features an interview with LF Philippines’ Joyce Ramos; a look at recently-passed legislation that could have a big impact on Philippine supply chain; and updates from the last six months of SCMAP events.
