SCMAP president Pierre Carlo Curay is among the speakers at the upcoming Metro Iloilo-Guimaras Economic Development Council Forum, a face-to-face event happening on 2 June at the District 21 Hotel in Iloilo City.
The event carries the theme Harnessing Opportunities in MIGEDC’s New Normal and will see a discussion of new economic and governance opportunities as the region emerges from the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is expected to be attended by representatives from the local governments who are part of the MIGEDC, including Iloilo City, surrounding towns, and the province of Guimaras.
Curay joins speakers such as Iloilo City mayor Jerry Treñas, Pavia mayor Laurence Anthony Gorriceta, Cebu Leads Foundation president Gordon Alan Joseph, and the University of the Philippines’ Dr. Czar Jakiri Sarmiento.
The event will also be streamed online at the MIGEDC Facebook page.
