SCMAP announces changes to its Board of Directors for 2022.
John Wayne Maravilla, customer and logistics services manager of Johnson & Johnson Philippines, has been named as the organization’s new secretary.
In addition, two new directors were named. Kareen Co, national logistics manager for Unilever Philippines, and Dario Arive Jr., assistant vice president for distribution of Personal Collection Direct Selling, are joining the board.
The moves come after the departures of Christine Pardiñas, who recently left her position from Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, and Ricardo Amante, who left Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines for a new role within the company in the Middle East. As per the organization’s by-laws, this means they are no longer eligible to maintain their positions within the SCMAP board as they are no longer the official representatives of their respective companies.
Co and Arive were selected as one of the top vote-getters from the most recent elections for the Board of Directors, which was held last November 2021. Maravilla, meanwhile, was elected through a vote within the Board of Directors.
