Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, who co-chairs the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), will speak at the first SCAn Networks Hub E-Forum, to be held on 9 June from 3pm to 5pm.
The event is the first of a series of online fora spearheaded by several industry organizations, aiming to link the public and private sectors as the country begins to navigate the waters amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. SCMAP is leading the first event, in association with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Philippine Exporters Confederation (PHILEXPORT), Export Development Council (EDC) and UPPAF-RESPOND.
Nograles will be speaking about how the government plans to stimulate the economy after restrictions of almost three months, particularly its initiatives to ensure continued movement of goods, as well as food security.
SCMAP president Christine Pardiñas will present the reaction from the private sector. The event will be moderated by UPPAF-RESPOND’s chief of party Dr. Henry Basilio.
