SCMAP supports the upcoming Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference, organized by PortCalls and Asia Customs and Trade, set to happen on 26 July 2019 at the Solaire Resort and Casino in ParaƱaque City.
The day-long event is expected to tackle important issues surrounding the rise of e-commerce in the Philippines and across southeast Asia from the perspective of international trade and customs. Among the topics set to be discussed are international regulations surrounding e-commerce and the digital economy, an overview of e-commerce supply chains, and best practices from key players.
The event comes as e-commerce continues to become an important mover in supply chain both here in the country and across the region. The rise of major shopping websites such as Lazada and Zalora, and the consequent emergence of new services catering both to businesses and consumers, has led to a need to reassess supply chains to ensure high service and satisfaction levels.
Attendance to the event is at PHP 6,000 exclusive of VAT, with a 10% group discount for companies that register three or more delegates. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available.
