Registration is now open for SCMAP’s next General Membership Meeting, which will be held on 11 April 2019, from 1pm to 5pm, at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City.

The GMM will look at the challenge of looking for, developing and mentoring the next generation of supply chain talent – an important task considering the growth of the supply chain sector in recent years and the increasing importance of the profession in ensuring the Philippine economy remains competitive.

SCMAP director Dario Arive Jr. will be at hand to present the results of the organization’s focus group discussion on this topic, as well as present other insights on how the education and business sectors are tackling this challenge.

There will also be an open forum with industry stakeholders, tapping into the expertise of both experts and the SCMAP membership. More details will be confirmed soon.

The event will also see updates on SCMAP activities and events, and the swearing in of the organization’s newest members.

Attendance is free for one representative per SCMAP member company. Additional representatives can take part for a fee of PHP 1,200 (for those who register before 5pm of 9 April) or PHP 1,300 (for those who register after, or register at the venue). Non-members can take part for a fee of PHP 1,500 (for pre-registered) or PHP 1,600 (for walk-in).
