SCMAP Visayas will look at government plans for tax amnesty and the provisions of the proposed TRABAHO law on its first General Membership Meeting for 2019, to be held on 1 March 2019, 1pm to 5pm, at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City.

Confirmed to speak at the event is Wendell Ganhinhin, partner of P&A Grant Thornton and head of its operations in Cebu and Davao. A graduate of Silliman University, he is also president of the Cebu chapter of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a trustee of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce.

The event will also serve as the induction of SCMAP Visayas’ new Board of Directors. The chapter will now be led by Marivic Esmero of Peer Cargo Movers Inc., previously their vice president.

Dr. Rodien Paca of Naga Port Shipping Marine Services will now serve as vice president; Ma. Salome Masnayon of Northpoint, secretary;
