Former SCMAP president Corazon Curay has been named as the organization’s new executive director. She replaces Norman Adriano, who steps down to pursue further opportunities.
Curay, who served as president of both SCMAP and its predecessor organization, DMAP, for a combined ten years – most recently in 2015 to 2016 – assumes the position starting today, 1 January.
A chemical engineer by profession, Curay has over thirty years of supply chain experience, having worked for Coca-Cola and San Miguel, before founding XVC Logistics, which she currently leads. She was also part of the National Competitiveness Council’s working group for transport, infrastructure and logistics.
She assumes her new position alongside the 2019 Board of Directors, led by new president Christine PardiƱas of Rustan Supercenters.
