The next issue of Supply Chain Philippines, SCMAP’s official magazine, looks at the opportunities and challenges posed by planning for surge periods.
The issue explores what the magazine calls the most stressful – and most rewarding – aspect of supply chain management. It look at what causes problems during surge periods for manufacturers, retailers and logistics providers, and explores what can be done by all stakeholders concerned.
The issue also dives into the most recent Logistics Performance Index, the recently passed Ease of Doing Business Law, and the possibilities offered by blockchain to supply chain. There are also updates from the past six months of SCMAP events.
The first copies of the newest issue of Supply Chain Philippines will be distributed at the 2018 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, which kicks off tomorrow at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City. It will also be distributed for free to SCMAP members and will be made available at events across the country.
