Two more speakers have been confirmed for the 2018 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, which will be held on 2-3 October 2018 at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City. Both speakers will be tackling the rise of the last mile, and how new tech-empowered services are providing more options for businesses, consumers and supply chain managers alike.
First off is Eugenio Ynion Jr. is the founder of online platform XLog, which provides a one-stop shop for the shipping and logistics industries. His decades of experience in logistics includes ownership of various companies such as Le Soleil Logistics and Fil-Port Express Brokerage.
Also joining the event is Dannah Majarocon, managing director of delivery platform Lalamove in the Philippines. Previously the company’s operations director, she previously worked for other tech companies such as Groupon and Globe’s fintech subsidiary Mynt.
Both Jun and Dan will be appearing on the conference’s third session, Engage: Going Beyond the Last Mile, which will be held on the morning of 3 October.
They join other previously announced speakers like Chelsea Logistics’ Dennis Uy, Victory Group’s Ike Castillo and Asian Institute of Management’s Dr. Erika Legara.
