Coinciding with tomorrow’s General Membership Meeting on the opportunities presented by the last mile, this issue explores how the last mile goes beyond delivery services, looking at both the front-end (apps, payment systems) and the back-end (warehouse management systems, support operations).
The issue also features a look at how Clark and Subic are emerging as the country’s newest business and logistics hubs, insights from last year’s Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference in Hong Kong, and a discussion of what bitcoin means for supply chain. This, alongside updates from the past six months of SCMAP events – and, to boot, a visual refresh and rethink.
The first copies of this issue of Supply Chain Philippines will be distributed at tomorrow’s General Membership Meeting, which will be held at the Discovery Suites Manila, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. It will be distributed for free to SCMAP members, and will also be made available at SCMAP events.
