SCMAP North Luzon will mount its first Kapihan Session, a breakfast get-together providing an opportunity for supply chain stakeholders in North Luzon and beyond to gather and discuss issues and views on topics affecting the sector.
The first event is scheduled for 19 March, from 8am to 9am, at the Xenia Hotel along C.M. Recto Highway at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
Confirmed to speak at the event is Maritess Martin, who was recently named as the Bureau of Customs’ district collector for the Port of Clark. She joins the gathering to discuss the latest customs regulations being implemented at the Clark Freeport.
SCMAP North Luzon president Dr. Francisco Villanueva will also be discussing new developments in the government’s tax reform initiatives, particularly the second package, which is expected to affect corporate income tax rates.
