Renowned business advocate Peter Wallace is to deliver the keynote address at the 2017 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, happening on 21-22 September 2017 at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila.

After first moving to the Philippines from his native Australia in 1971, Wallace has become one of the foremost voices of the business community in the country, primarily as the founder and chairman of consultancy firm Wallace Business Forum. He has worked with successive Philippine presidents on policies pertaining to business and foreign investment, and also writes a weekly column for the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Wallace will be heading the keynote session, which will be held on the morning of 21 September, providing the private sector’s take on the opportunities for the Philippines in general, and for the supply chain industry in particular.

We are also glad to announce DHL Supply Chain Philippines’ Suzie Mitchell is joining the fifth session of the conference, Move: The Future Supply Chain, which will be held on the afternoon of 22 September. Her career in logistics and engineering has seen her work for Caterpillar and Microsoft, before being named vice president for business development for DHL Supply Chain, in charge of the automotive, energy and chemical sectors.

She joins Google Philippines country manager Kenneth Lingan in the session.

The SCMAP Supply Chain Conference is the organization’s flagship event, gathering industry leaders, supply chain experts and policy makers to look at the issues, challenges and opportunities for supply chain in the Philippines. It is also the widest gathering of supply chain practitioners in the country, with an exhibit bringing together top logistics service and product providers.
