Undersecretary Bernard Olalia of the Department of Labor and Employment is joining this year’s Supply Chain Outlook, happening on 7 February at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila.

Olalia joins a powerhouse roster of panelists, which include Dr. Bernardo Villegas of the University of Asia and the Pacific and Dr. Henry Basilio of USAID-COMPETE.

Olalia will discuss the government’s efforts to modernize labor regulations, particularly efforts to end the practice of “endo”. Also joining him to discuss this is former People Management Association of the Philippines president Jesse Francis Rebustillo, presenting from the side of human resources professionals, and Atty. Apollo Sangalang, presenting from a legal standpoint.

The event, which also serves as the first General Membership Meeting of 2017, will also feature the induction of SCMAP’s new Board of Directors.
