SCMAP supports the 9th Philippine Ports and Shipping 2017, the biennial trade show hosted by the Philippine Port Authority and organized by Transport Events Management Ltd.
This year’s event, one of the largest conferences in ASEAN for container port and terminal operations, will be held on 23-24 February 2017 at the Peninsula Manila in Makati City. The event is expected to be attended by 400 delegates representing the region’s largest shippers, cargo handlers and logistics providers, and will feature 25 speakers from across ASEAN, as well as 50 exhibiting companies. The keynote address will be delivered by Department of Transportation secretary Arthur Tugade.
The conference will look at the opportunities for ports in BIMP-EAGA, from promoting maritime connectivity, to developments in automation, and best practices.
