Renowned labor lawyer Atty. Apollo Sangalang and former People Management Association of the Philippines president Jesse Francis Rebustillo are joining this year’s Supply Chain Outlook.

The two will be on hand to tackle emerging developments in the labor setting, including proposed reforms to contractualization laws and the Duterte administration’s bid to end the practice of “endo”.

Atty. Apollo Sangalang is the founder of Paladins of Law, a law firm specializing in labor and business laws. From 2003 to 2006 he was the executive director of the National Labor Relations Commission, under the Department of Labor and Employment, and also worked for the Philippine Senate, the Supreme Court and the University of the Philippines. He has facilitated several training workshops and seminars on labor and business law, and also hosts a weekend program on DZRJ-AM.

Jesse Francis Rebustillo is no stranger to Supply Chain Outlook, being a speaker at last year’s event. He was formerly the president of the People Management Association of the Philippines, the country’s leading organization for human resource managers, and in this capacity headed the composition of their position paper on “endo”. He is currently assistant vice president for industrial relations of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Sangalang and Rebustillo join Dr. Bernardo Villegas and Dr. Henry Basilio as speakers and panelists on this year’s Supply Chain Outlook, which will be held on 7 February, 3pm to 7pm, at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City. The event, which serves as the first General Membership Meeting of the year, will also see the induction of SCMAP’s Board of Directors.

Registration is now open for delegates. SCMAP member companies can send one free delegate, with additional delegates to be charged at PHP 1,000 each. Non-members will be changed PHP 2,500. Click here to register.
