SCMAP membership falls into two categories:

Corporate membership is open to any corporation operating in the Philippines. These should be involved in supply and/or distribution activities, as owners of finished goods, materials or other items, using its own supply/distribution facilities or contracting a service provider. Also included are companies whose principal business is the provision of logistics service or support, such as equipment or software.

Individual membership is open to any individual with experience and keen interest in supply chain management and other related areas. Members should have at least two years of experience in the field, or a related function; or be one who has clear support for the mission and advocacies of SCMAP. Individual members assume all rights, privileges and obligations of corporate members, except for the right to vote for, and be voted into, the Board of Directors.

These categories apply to the national organization, based in Manila, as well as regional chapters in Visayas (Cebu), Northern Luzon (Clark) and Mindanao (Cagayan de Oro).

Please note that membership to SCMAP is continuous and renews automatically every year. A member can choose to leave the organization, but resignation must be done in writing, and all accounts must be settled before resignation is accepted.

Any company or individual that has resigned its membership from SCMAP and has since chosen to rejoin must undergo the membership process and pay the necessary fees.

It is the responsibility of members to update the organization of any changes to their contact information, as well as official and alternate representatives (for corporate members). The membership update form is available here.

Steps on Becoming A Member

  • Applicants must completely fill out the relevant application form and send it to the SCMAP Secretariat. Click here to download the forms. Corporate members must also submit a short company profile and a copy of the first page of their SEC registration.
  • The Board of Directors will then deliberate on whether to accept your membership application or not. Once a unanimous approval is reached, members must attend an orientation session and one SCMAP activity. Membership fees and annual dues must also be paid.
  • Once settled, the member – in the case of corporate members, its representatives – takes the Oath of Membership at the closest General Membership Meeting.
