Six times a year SCMAP holds General Membership Meetings, where it updates its members – and the supply chain industry at large – on developments, trends and opportunities impacting the way we do our work.

Our General Membership Meetings tackle a varied range of topics. On some instances it looks at pressing subjects such as congestion in the ports, transport costs and development of our logistics systems. On others it provides an overview of a rising industry or field, such as online retailing or tourism, and gathers the opportunities present for supply chain. Whichever the case, SCMAP invites industry leaders and stakeholders and facilitates discussion with its members, allowing for a deeper understanding of the issues at hand.

These events also update the membership on SCMAP’s activities and advocacies, including upcoming events, engagements and collaborations.

Most events are held in Manila, while others are held off-site, in the facilities of some of our members companies and industry partners. Previous GMMs have been held at the facilities of Zalora Philippines and the Manila International Container Port.
