The first series of Supply Chain Essentials, SCMAP’s six-week online training program tackling fundamental supply chain concepts, will kick off this February.
The workshops will be held on six consecutive Fridays, from 19 February to 26 March, from 1pm to 5pm.
The Essentials of Supply Chain kicks the series off on 19 February, looking at a broad understanding of supply chain management. The Essentials of Supply Chain Finance, on 26 February, looks at the financial implications of supply chain management. The Essentials of Supply Chain Planning, on 5 March, will explore forecasting, production planning and demand planning.
The Essentials of Strategic Sourcing, on 12 March, will look at strategies on procuring and sourcing sustainably and strategically. The Essentials of Transportation and Distribution, on 19 March, looks at managing the movement of raw materials and finished goods across the supply chain. Finally, the Essentials of Customer Fulfillment, on 26 March, will look at various facets of customer service.
Among the speakers for these webinars are seasoned supply chain experts, including former SCMAP presidents Enrique Castillo and Dennis Llovido, as well as former SCMAP director Max Yap. More names will be confirmed soon.
Registration for Supply Chain Essentials is now open to the public. Fees for SCMAP members are at PHP 3,000 per session, or PHP 16,200 for all six. For non-members, it is at PHP 3,750 per session, or PHP 20,250 for all six.
