LF Logistics’ JM Yosures won the first ever Voice of Supply Chain, a singing competition held during this year’s SCMAP Christmas fellowship, held at the Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila last 5 December.
His rousing performance of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” impressed both audiences and the judges – Del Monte’s Teng Aguilar, Unilab’s Nestor Felicio and JG Summit’s Tina Alvarez.
He won PHP 10,000 and a free two-day pass to the 2020 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference happening in September.
PMFTC’s Frances Almiranes came in second place, while Fast Logistics’ Gerald Valderrama came in third.
The fellowship, which was themed “A Pearly White Christmas”, was the culmination of celebrations of SCMAP’s 30th anniversary. The event saw the introduction of the organization’s Board of Directors for 2020, and looked ahead to the coming year’s activities and initiatives.
As always, the fellowship provided SCMAP’s members and friends a chance to take stock of the past year and to reconnect with colleagues. There were, of course, gift packs for everyone, and a raffle of travel-themed prizes.
