SCMAP is proud to be a mentor partner of GoNegosyo’s Kapatid MentorMe program, which was officially rolled out nationwide in ceremonies held yesterday at D’Cup Coffee Republic at Pioneer Street Market, Mandaluyong City.
The event will also mark the beginning of the development of the ASEAN Mentor-Entrepreneur Network, a mentoring program involving representatives from the ten member-states of the ASEAN. It will be formally launched this November.
SCMAP was represented by director Carlo Curay and the training and academe committee’s Max Yap.
The MentorMe program, part of GoNegosyo’s Kapatid initiative, links business experts with MSMEs across the country through seminars that will equip them with essential business skills and knowledge. As one of the mentor partners of the program, SCMAP has held seminars on supply chain fundamentals in venues such as Baguio, Tarlac, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro and Tubud, Lanao del Sur. The program’s expansion means SCMAP’s expertise on supply chain will reach more entrepreneurs in all 86 provinces across the country.
The partnership between SCMAP and GoNegosyo was formalized through a MOA signing held at the 2016 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference last September, attended by GoNegosyo head Joey Concepcion.
