Meet the resource speakers for the DLSU/SCMAP Certificate Course in Enterprise Supply Chain Management, from among the most respected in the industry.

 

Amante Aguilar is supply chain group head of Del Monte Philippines. He previously spent two decades with Johnson & Johnson, handling various roles in manufacturing and logistics both in the Philippines and across ASEAN. He is also a director of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. A graduate of the University of the Philippines, he ranked second in the mechanical engineering licensure examinations in 1985.


Dario Arive Jr. is plant operations manager for URC Flour. He was previously assistant vice president for planning and distribution of Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc., and prior to that, spent fifteen years in various roles at URC Flour. A graduate of Bicol University, he later received his Master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University, and teaches at the University of Makati.


Enrique Castillo is president and chief executive officer of the Victory Group of Companies. His supply chain career has seen him work for the likes of Avon, James Hardie, Zuellig Pharma, Nestlé, Del Monte, and most recently, Fast Logistics. He was also president of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. He finished his Bachelor’s degree at the Ateneo de Manila University, and later received his Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University.


Willy Cuason is chief planning officer for Pyramid Construction and Engineering Corporation. His supply chain experience includes stints with Toyota Motors, Gloria Maris Foods, and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority. He has also taught supply chain management in academic institutions such as the De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, and the University of Asia and the Pacific.


Nestor Felicio recently retired as corporate vice president for integrated planning and logistics management of Unilab. His supply chain career saw him hold national and regional roles for Unilever and SC Johnson, among others. He was also president of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. He graduated from the University of the Philippines, and later completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s MicroMasters program in supply chain management.


Galvin Lagera is a consultant with expertise in industrial engineering, operations management and supply chain management. He was most recently assistant vice president for materials management of the De Los Santos Medical Center. He previously held roles with PLDT and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and was an associate professor at the De La Salle University. He was also previously a director of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. He finished his graduate degree from DLSU, before receiving his Masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.


Dina Pilapil is general manager for business development of Maersk Omnichannel Fulfillment (formerly LF Logistics). A certified public accountant, she began her career with pharmaceutical company Nattermann before joining Marsman and Company, and later, IDS Logistics. She was also a former director of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. She graduated from the University of the East.


Max Yap is chairman of Marebjhel Transportation Services. He most recently worked as senior manager for supply chain of Philippine Batteries Inc., manufacturer of Motolite batteries. He is also a mentor for Go Negosyo’s Kapatid Mentor Me program, and a former director of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. He graduated from the Mapua Institute of Technology.
