This year’s edition of the SCMAP Supply Chain Conference – the most prestigious event in Philippine supply chain – will be dubbed SCC21 Live and will be held virtually throughout October 2021.
As supply chains in the Philippines and across the world emerge from the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic with cautious optimism, this year’s event will look at the trends and issues that will shape the way we work and serve our customers in the coming years. We will go beyond the immediate headlines and take a long-term look at the issues and developments that are poised to shape the supply chain profession in the years to come, with the help of industry experts, policy makers and thought leaders.
There will be four sessions in this year’s conference:
Shaping Supply Chain’s Next Big Story (5 October)
Where is Philippine supply chain, and the economy as a whole, heading in the coming years? We invite key players and thought leaders from government and industry to present their perspectives and insights.
Building Resilient and Reliable Supply Chains (7 October)
The pandemic has laid bare issues surrounding global trade and logistics, particularly physical and regulatory bottlenecks, increasing costs and trade imbalances. How can we address these issues and continue delivering for our customers as “normal”?
Catering to Evolving Customer Demands (12 October)
With e-commerce further picking up traction in recent months, and supply chain players responding in kind, how can we continue stepping up to new customer demands? And what about brick-and-mortar stores – how do they fit in the picture?
Embracing Sustainability Across the Supply Chain (14 October)
As awareness of the ecological impact of our supply chains increases, efforts are afoot to reduce our carbon footprint and embrace more reusable materials. How can we foster and develop more sustainable supply chains while continuing to deliver for our customers?
Building from the success of last year’s conference, we vow to make the panels more informative, interactive and engaging, while expanding networking opportunities for both our delegates and sponsors.
