SCMAP Visayas will hold an international summit providing logistics and e-commerce updates from across the ASEAN region and the wider global markets on 23 July, from 3pm, via Zoom.
Speaking at the event are Mark Assaf, chief of the human resources development division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development; Dessy Prihatiningtyas Emasteri, senior vice president for HR and strategy of port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II; Karyn Welsh, chief executive officer of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Australia; and Dr. Nazry Yahya, renowned Malaysian writer and analyst on logistics and supply chain issues.
The event is expected to tackle issues such as global port congestion in light of the COVID-19 pandemic; shifts in consumer behaviors also resulting from the pandemic; and the rise of e-commerce seen in recent months.
