Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles returns to SCMAP to lead the speakers for the upcoming event Supply Chain Outlook Live, happening on 22 March 2021, from 9am to 12nn, online through Zoom and the organization’s Facebook page.
Nograles, who previously spoke at our SCMAP Live event last August, also acts as a spokesperson for the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), which leads government efforts to fight COVID-19. He also chairs the Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger, and leads, alongside the private sector, the Pilipinas Kontra Gutom initiative, of which SCMAP is part of.
Also joining as speakers for the event are Anthony Dizon, president of the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, and the REID Foundation’s Ronilo Balbieran, who returns to provide his outlook on the Philippine economy for the coming months.
This year’s Supply Chain Outlook Live will dive into what promises to be another extraordinary year for Philippine supply chain, as the country (and the world) emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from efforts to spur immediate economic recovery, focus is now starting to shift towards long-term issues that need to be addressed.
The event will also feature the swearing in of SCMAP’s Board of Directors for 2021, led by Pierre Carlo Curay as president.
Registration is now open to those who want to take part via Zoom, and have the chance to put questions to the speakers. The event is free, but limited slots are available.
