You can now watch the full video of the latest edition of SCMAP Live, our series of online events looking at what the new normal means for the supply chain sector.
In this edition, Understanding Our Trade Challenges held last 26 November, we discussed whether players in Philippine supply chain are ready to respond to an expected influx in economic activity in the coming year, and more critically, the entry of a potential vaccine against COVID-19 to the country.
Marilyn Alberto, president of the Philippine Multimodal Transport and Logistics Association, talked about the challenges faced by logistics services providers in moving goods during the pandemic, while Samuel Bautista of the Academy of Developmental Logistics explored the regulatory perspective of these issues, and SCMAP director Dennis Llovido discussed issues faced by end consumers. Finally, Bureau of Customs assistant commissioner Atty. Vincent Philip Maronilla presented the agency’s modernization efforts.
The next SCMAP Live is scheduled in January, with more details to be confirmed in the coming weeks. You can become a sponsor by clicking here.
