SCMAP Visayas held an online ‘kumustahan’ last 9 October, bringing its members a venue to update each other on how they coped with the restrictions brought forth by the COVID-19 crisis, as well as its impact on their home and work lives.
The intimate gathering saw 25 participants from across the region, as well as outside it, gather for a no-holds-barred chat on the impact of the pandemic on their operations. SCMAP Visayas charter president Robert Cabaero led the discussion, which tackled everything from budgetary impacts to post-pandemic plans.
SCMAP president Christine PardiƱas was also at hand to present updates from the national organization and share her insights into the pandemic’s impact as well.
SCMAP Visayas promised further updates as the region emerges from coronavirus restrictions – to date, Cebu is at the least restrictive form of community quarantine – as it seeks to continue addressing logistics bottlenecks and long-term issues.
The event was sponsored by PTMI.
