TESDA Region 7 director Atty. Andrew Bido is joining SCMAP Visayas’ upcoming General Membership Meeting, happening on 18 October from 9am to 5pm at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Bido joins the affair to discuss government efforts to expand supply chain education particularly to those working in warehouses and as truck drivers, as stakeholders continue to address the need for greater supply chain capacity and capability in the coming years.
A native of Northern Samar, Bido previously worked for the Commission of Elections and the Public Attorney’s Office before joining TESDA as regional director for Region 3 (Central Luzon) in 2017. He later held the same role for Region 5 (Bicol), before assuming the position for Region 7 (Central Visayas), providing him a unique insight into education challenges in the nation’s key economic regions.
Bido joins previously announced speakers Jose Fernando Bugtai of Pier 88 Ventures and Ninoy Rollan of TransSolutions Logistics and Management.
