Businesswoman and halal advocate Marilou Ampuan joins the line-up of speakers for Supply Chain Perspective, SCMAP’s whole-day event in Davao, which will be held on 15 November at the Apo View Hotel.
As head of the Universal Islamic Center, she has tirelessly promoted halal and its impact to businesses across the Philippines. Her work and expertise has brought her to countries across Asia, speaking on how catering to halal markets can benefit businesses globally, as well as encouraging the development of Davao as the halal capital of the Philippines. She also works in the jewelry and tourism industries, with decades of experience.
Ampuan joins previously announced speakers Sec. Emmanuel PiƱol of the Mindanao Development Authority and Raymund Acedera of Logistikus, with more to be confirmed in the coming days.
Supply Chain Perspective is SCMAP’s regional event looking at the prospects and opportunities facing the supply chain sector across the country. After previous versions in Iloilo and Clark, this year the event is held in Mindanao, highlighting renewed optimism and interest in the region.
