SCMAP supports the upcoming Mindanao Logistics Summit, a one-day conference and exhibit which will be held on 4 October 2019 at the Grand Caprice Convention Center, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City.
Organized by Xavier University High School Batch 1984, the event carries the theme Logistics: Shaping the Future of Mindanao Business. The event comes as the focus of development centers in the region, with various flagship infrastructure projects underway to meet the demand of established and new businesses there. The conference will look at the critical role bolstering Mindanao’s logistics competitiveness will play in growing the region’s economy, as well as the nation’s as a whole.
Among the topics to be discussed are new developments in port and transport infrastructure; ensuring logistics excellence in the region; and the challenge of developing logistics talent. Over 250 delegates from the public and private sectors, as well as the academe, are expected to take part.
SCMAP president Christine Pardiñas is among the confirmed speakers, which also includes Logistikus’ Oliver Caday, the Victory Group’s Enrique Castillo and the Philippine Maize Foundation’s Rodrigo Bioco.
