We are happy to announce four more speakers for the upcoming 2019 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, which is happening on 19-20 September at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City.
Joining as speakers are Cliff Eala of Synerbyte Ltd, Lourdes Guzman of Orca Cold Chain Solutions, Marc Philipp of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore, and Rolly Melendrez of Alcon Laboratories.
Guzman and Melendrez will be speaking on the third session, Engage: Enabling Better Service Through Cold Chain Logistics, which will be held on the morning of 20 September. The panel is expected to further highlight the importance of cold chain to ensure high service levels and high quality of products.
Guzman is a supply chain veteran, with over five decades in the profession and several awards and accolades under her belt. She spent several years with Kraft Foods, working various roles in the Philippines and regionally; she is currently president of cold chain newcomer Orca Cold Chain Solutions.
Melendrez’s career includes stints with Nestlé and Holcim, before signing up as country supply chain head for eye care products manufacturer Alcon Laboratories.
Meanwhile, Philipp and Eala will join LF Logistics’ Santi Gutierrez on the conference’s second panel, Connect: Ensuring Operational Excellence in the Supply Chain, scheduled on the afternoon of 19 September.
Philipp has extensive supply chain experience across Asia, Europe and Australia, particularly focusing on enabling digital transformations within major manufacturers and retailers. He is currently partner and supply chain consulting lead for PricewaterhouseCoopers, based in their Singapore offices.
