We are happy to confirm more speakers taking part in the 2018 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, the most prestigious event in Philippine supply chain, slated to happen on 2-3 October at the EDSA Shangri-la in Mandaluyong City.
Ian Claxton, group chief executive officer of Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics, joins us for our session Connect: Empowering Tomorrow’s Supply Chain Leaders on the afternoon of 2 October. A veteran of the shipping and logistics industry, he spent most of his career with the Singaporean Container Logistics Group, working in countries such as India, Sir Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and Singapore.
Jayan Dy, chief information officer for Procter & Gamble in the Philippines, joins us for our session Move: Making Sense of the Present and Future on the afternoon of 3 October. He has spent the past fourteen years at the multinational company, helping implement various tech-related process improvements before being named to his current position in 2017.
Returning to the conference for a second year running is Suzie Mitchell, country managing director for DHL Supply Chain Philippines. The Australian has worked for various technology and logistics companies, including Caterpillar and Microsoft, before joining DHL, working extensively with the automotive and engineering sectors. She joins us for our session Connect: The Omnipresent Supply Chain on the afternoon of 2 October
Finally, David Wong, the marketing manager for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Singapore branch, will be talking on the afternoon of 2 October. A graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he previously worked with HKTDC’s exhibitions department, promoting the statutory body’s trade fairs, as well as helping maintain relationships with his counterparts in mainland China.
They join other previously announced speakers like Chelsea Logistics’ Dennis Uy, Victory Group’s Ike Castillo and Lalamove’s Dannah Majarocon.
