Economics professor Dr. Oscar Bucog is joining the line-up of SCMAP Visayas’ third Sharpening the Supply Chain Practitioners event to discuss the impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law on the supply chain industry and the Philippine economy.

Bucog is a professor at the economics department of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, a position he has held since 1975. He was also the department’s chair from 1997 to 2001. He has led or taken part in studies on Philippine economic policy, as well as foreign direct investment in the ASEAN. He finished his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in economics, and his doctorate in education, at the USC.

Bucog joins a stellar line-up of supply chain managers and stakeholders for the third Sharpening the Supply Chain Practitioners, which will be held on 24 August at the Maayo Hotel in Mandaue City.
