SCMAP’s kick-off event for 2018, Supply Chain Outlook, will be held on 26 January 2018, from 12nn to 4pm, at the Garden Ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City.
The event is now open for sponsorship. Sponsors to the event get to display a banner near the registration area, and also distribute pamphlets to delegates. They will be acknowledged as a sponsor in event publicity material as well as during the event. Finally, the sponsor can send two delegates to the event for free. Sponsorship fee is at PHP 50,000 inclusive of VAT.
The event is expected to attract corporate-level delegates from the manufacturing, retailing and logistics industries, as well as other supply chain stakeholders. It also serves as the first General Membership Meeting of 2018.
Interested companies can download the sponsor application form here and email it to the SCMAP Secretariat on or before 19 January. Sponsorships will not be effective until full payment has been made. Limited slots are available.
The event looks at what lies ahead for supply chain in the coming year, with experts and leaders providing their perspectives on trends and developments that can affect the industry in the year. It also serves as the induction of the incoming SCMAP Board of Directors.
The 2017 event featured Dr. Henry Basilio, now with the National Competitiveness Council; undersecretary Bernard Olalia of the Department of Labor and Employment; former People Management Association of the Philippines president Jesse Rebustillo; labor law expert Atty. Pol Sangalang; and Dr. Bernardo Villegas of the University of Asia and the Pacific.
