The newest issue of Supply Chain Philippines, the official magazine of SCMAP, will look at how changing consumer habits are affecting the supply chain industry – and argue for the need for stronger collaboration as a result.
The issue will dive into several trends that are changing the way people interact with various supply chains: shifts in urbanism, the rise of e-commerce and social media, the corresponding focus on “curation”, and others. It will look at how stakeholders in supply chain have responded, and make a few suggestions on how they should further respond as change continues apace.
The magazine also features a look at technologies changing the way we work in supply chain; initiatives to combat increasing road congestion in Cebu City; and a look at how proposed reforms to Philippine tax laws can affect the industry. This, alongside updates from the past six months of SCMAP events.
The first copies of this issue of Supply Chain Philippines will be distributed at the 2017 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference, happening tomorrow at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila. It will be distributed for free to SCMAP members, and will also be made available at SCMAP events.
