Department of Public Works and Highways undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral is joining the 2017 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference as a keynote speaker.
Cabral is undersecretary for planning and PPPs, responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and development of the country’s major infrastructure projects, as well as projects under the Public-Private Partnership program.
She is the first female rank-and-file employee to be elevated to undersecretary at the DPWH. She is also the first female to become president of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, a position she currently holds.
Cabral joins DTI undersecretary Ruth Castelo in presenting the public sector perspective in the keynote session, happening tomorrow morning. Peter Wallace, one of the business community’s most respected voices, will present the private sector perspective. The SCMAP Supply Chain Conference is the organization’s flagship event, gathering industry leaders, supply chain experts and policy makers to look at the issues, challenges and opportunities for supply chain in the Philippines. It is also the widest gathering of supply chain practitioners in the country, with an exhibit bringing together top logistics service and product providers.
It kicks off tomorrow and runs until Friday at the EDSA Shangri-la Manila in Mandaluyong City. Registration for delegates are still open; click here to learn more about our packages and to sign up. We will also accept limited registrations at the venue.
