The seventh edition of the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference will be held on 23-24 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As with previous years, it will spotlight the Belt and Road Initiative of the Chinese central government, with a focus on ASEAN and railway logistics. Also to be tackled are e-commerce, smart logistics, cold chain logistics and cargo security.

Confirmed speakers to date include Kerry Globalink’s Siddique Khan, Chain of Things’ Dr Hans Lombardo, UPS’ Jeff Steilen, Zuellig Pharma’s Brett Marshall, and Seko Logistics’ James Gagne.

The event also features an exhibition of major logistics suppliers and providers in the region, as well as business matching sessions.

Last year’s event saw over 2,000 delegates from 35 countries, including the largest ever Philippine delegation – and, for the first time, a Filipino company, F2 Logistics, among the exhibitors. Delegates were also treated to tours of logistics facilities in Hong Kong.

A 30% early bird discount is available to those who register to the event on or before 29 September. Visit almc.hk for more details and to register.

The event is organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Like in the past few years, SCMAP and its official magazine Supply Chain Philippines is a media partner.
