Representatives from the national and local government are joining SCMAP Visayas’ Infrastructure and Traffic Summit, happening on 15 September at the Bayfront Hotel in Cebu City.
Ador Canlas, regional director for the Department of Public Works and Highways in region 7, will be joining the event to discuss the government’s infrastructure plans for the whole of central Visayas. A native Pampangueno, he was previously assistant regional director for the DPWH’s region 3 office.
Also joining is Atty. Ismael Garaygay III, who was appointed as head of the Cebu City Transportation Office last April. A lawyer for ten years, he has been working for the Cebu City government for the past seven years. He will be discussing the city government’s efforts to establish a responsive traffic management plan.
Canlas and Garaygay are joining previously announced speakers Engr. Allan Alfon, Jensen Racho, Engr. Fortunato Sanchez and SCMAP Visayas director Dr. Rodien Paca.
