The newest issue of Supply Chain Philippines, the official magazine of SCMAP, will look at the “golden age of infrastructure” promised by the Duterte administration over the next five years.

The issue will trace what came before – what previous governments did, or failed to do – as well as look at the proposed projects of the current government to enhance connectivity on road, sea and air, between the provinces as well as towards our neighbors in the region.

Also in the magazine is an explainer of two initiatives that could position China as a bigger economic force to be reckoned with – the proposed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and the ongoing Belt and Road Initiative – as well as a look at how a 3PL company is adopting to digital disruption. This, alongside updates from the past six months of SCMAP events.

The first copies of this issue of Supply Chain Philippines will be distributed at today’s General Membership Meeting. It will be distributed for free to SCMAP members, and will also be made available at SCMAP events. In the coming weeks, issues of the magazine will also be uploaded on the SCMAP website.
