SCMAP president Nestor Felicio will speak on the second day of 9th Philippine Ports and Shipping, one of the largest conferences in ASEAN for container port and terminal operations.

Felicio’s talk is entitled Improving supply chain health and reducing bottlenecks in logistics: industry’s perspectives. He will discuss steps needed to be done by all sectors in ensuring a smoother flow of goods from ports to end users. He will be speaking on Session 5 of the conference, which revolves around how improving BIMP-EAGA’s transport systems can contribute to the realization of ASEAN economic integration. It will be held on 24 February from 11:20am; he will be speaking at 11:40am.

The event is expected to be attended by 400 delegates representing the region’s largest shippers, cargo handlers and logistics providers, and will feature 25 speakers from across ASEAN, as well as 50 exhibiting companies. The keynote address will be delivered by Department of Transportation secretary Arthur Tugade. SCMAP is a supporting organization in the said event.
